How often should the coop be cleaned?
Coop conditions should be observed daily but you can clean them once 1-2 weeks. Pay close attention to ammonia smells because this can cause respiratory and other issues in your flock. Deep cleanings should be done at least 1-2 times a year. Each flock and coop is different so cleaning schedules can vary. Use your best judgment and view your flock as part of the family.
