Hatch Day (Substitution)

Substitution Question

On occasion, we may have a breed that does not hatch as well as we predicted. While this is not a common occurrence, it's a good idea to be prepared to make a decision quickly on hatch day if an issue should arise.

During the process of checking out you will be asked if you are willing to accept substitutions for specific breeds on your order, which you can answer "Yes, Substitute" or "No, Reschedule". No matter what we will still give you notification on the day 
hatch, at which time you will have the choice to substitute, ship short, reschedule or cancel your order depending on your preference.

Understand that we are working with limited time on hatch days, so your immediate cooperation is necessary to resolve hatch day issues. If we do not hear back from you, Meyer Hatchery reserves the right to use our best judgment and make the decision for you.
